Roberta began working at Sheabel in 1992 as a bather.  Within the period of one year, she was already training to become a groomer.  After 2 years of grooming,  Roberta had to leave Sheabel  for a couple of years to take care of her Grandfather in New York.  Approximately 2 years later, Roberta returned, once again grooming. 

“I knew I wanted to work with animals.  I tried being a Vet Tech, but that wasn’t for me.  After working as a bather, and watching the groomers work, I saw what I wanted to do and I love it…” 

Many of Roberta’s clients start with her at puppyhood (or kittenhood), and she enjoys frequently grooming them throughout their lives. 

“I like watching the puppies grow up, and having the touch to groom pets that others are unable to groom.  I focus on treating each pet as if it were my own, and each customer as I would like to be treated.  I will try to conveniently work with everyone’s schedule, and do the very best I can for their pet…” 

As you can see, Roberta grooms both dogs and cats.  And they all seem to enjoy each visit with her.
